Project monitoring and evaluation is an integral part of the project cycle and important of good management practice. An effective monitoring and evaluation process is fundamental if the goals of a project are to be achieved. Through setting up proper monitoring and evaluation process, funding, stakeholders‟ participation, proper leadership and good baseline studies, efficient project implementation can be achieved thus enhancing the performance of projects. This study sought to analyze influence of monitoring and evaluation process on implementation of WASH projects: A case of UNICEF Kenya WASH program, Kajiado County. The study was guided by the stakeholder theory and the theory of change. The research was guided by the following objectives; to establish the influence of funding M&E process on implementation of WASH projects, to determine the influence of stakeholder participation in M&E on implementation of WASH projects and to assess the influence of project leadership in M&E on implementation of WASH projects. The study adopted a descriptive survey research design in solving the research problem. The study targeted employees of UNICEF Kenya working under the WASH program and in human resources, finance and administration departments and program beneficiaries. A sample was selected procedurally. An interview guide was also used to interview key informant persons in the organization. Collected data was edited, sorted, cleaned and coded for data analysis using SPSS statistical package. The findings were analyzed using means, standard deviation, percentages and frequencies then presented using tables. The level of association between the independent and dependent variables was assessed by estimating a linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination (R2).The findings helped indicate whether UNICEF allocated funds to M&E activities and has a separate allocation for M&E and whether the funds were sufficient and the M&E unit is independent there were 60 observations which were used in the study. Composite Mean and Standard Deviation 2.67 and .547 respectively for funds for M&E .For stakeholders‟ participation this was 3.910 and 1.0933 and for leadership on implementation was 3.384 and 1.1204. The findings show a strong positive correlation between M&E leadership and implementation of projects with a correlation coefficient of 0.736. This implies that if organizations use effective leadership, the implementation efficiency level of projects will increase. The findings also show a positive correlation between funding of M&E process and implementation of projects with a correlation of 0.489. The study shows a strong positive correlation between stakeholders‟ participation and implementation of with correlation of 0.565. This implies that better enforcement of stakeholders‟ participation within UNICEF WASH project in Kajiado in Kenya can significantly improve the implementation of projects. Findings from this study revealed that monitoring and evaluation process has an influence on implementation of projects. Project implementation policy and its guidelines were well known by both the project implementers and project beneficiaries.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of teacher related factors on integration of Information and Communication Technology in public secondary schools in Narok North Sub-County. The objectives of the study sought to establish how teachers’ training on ICT, teachers’ age, and teachers’ gender influence integration of ICT in public secondary schools. The study employed Everett Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation theory. A descriptive survey method was utilized in this research. Target population included the 20 public secondary schools in Narok North Sub County. The research targeted one Sub-County Quality Assurance Officer, 20 principals and 174 teachers. Stratified sampling technique was used for the study to sample the schools. Therefore out of 20 principals a sample equivalent to 30% or 6 principals were selected randomly. Out of a target population of 174 teachers, 52 teachers which forms 30% of the population was randomly selected. Questionnaires were administered to the teachers while interviews were conducted on the principals and the Sub County Quality Assurance and Standards officer (SCQASO). Descriptive statistics involved calculating frequencies, and percentages while the inferential statistics showed the relationship between the independent and dependent variables using Pearson correlation. There was a significant correlation between gender and technology literacy. The findings established that there was a significant correlation exists between training and technology literacy, knowledge deepening and knowledge creation. The level of training affects ICT integration in secondary schools. Based on the study findings it can be concluded that the gender of teachers influences technology literacy but it does not influence knowledge deepening and knowledge creation among teachers in public secondary schools. The age of teachers influences ICT use which relates to technology literacy and also influence knowledge deepening and knowledge creation among teachers
The level of ICT training influences positively technology literacy, training and knowledge deepening and training and knowledge creation in ICT integration for teaching and learning. The study recommends that the Ministry of Education need to support teachers training in integration of ICT for both male and female teachers to be encouraged to develop ICT literacy through training to enable them integrate ICT for teaching thus enhancing on students’ achievement of set goals. Suggestions for further study recommends that a study on factors influencing the integration of ICT in education in the primary schools.

The organization of the work
reflects the author's view of what
constitutes the process of drugs
registration and the development of the
new computer application system to
improve this process. Most computerbased
information processing systems
are seen to serve one or two general
social functions: coordination of
diversity or control of disorder.
Coordination and control signify the
extremes of a continuum of social
choices. Aids to the delivery of social
services exemplify the former; the latter
is manifest in the use of databanks for
surveillance purposes. DRIS is no
exception. It is a mixture of the two,
perhaps not in equal measures; more of
a control of disorder than coordination
of diversity, at least for the time being.
This document is an outgrowth of
notes prepared during a 12 week project
on drugs .registration for the Division of
Pharmacy at the headquarters of the
Ministry of Health (Kenya). A
preliminary draft has been used at the
Institute of Computer Science (UoN) to
evaluate my performance in the
Postgraduate Diploma course I have
undergone over the last one year.
