dc.description.abstractAn observational epidemiological study was carried out to evaluate the use of trypanotolerance in a trypanosomosis endemic area of Kajiado District between January 2004 and July 2005,and comprised of two phases.First,the Orma botan (OB) bulls wee voluntarily acquired fro Kiboko Range Research Centre in Makueni District by Maasai pastorolists for breeding purposes.Once the farmers selected bulls based on physical characteristics that were appealing to them,the 14 bulls were transported by lorry to Magadi Division of Kajiado District and dispersed to their respective owners.
