dc.description.abstractResearch done in various industries have consistently shown a strong link between management practices and organiztion performance. however very little if any empirical research has been done to investigate the relationship between management practices and performance in the education in Thika District To realize the purpose of this study was therefore to determine the relationship between management practices and performance of students in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in Thika District. To realize the purpose of the study, a survey was done to collect primary data by use of questionnaires. The questionnaires contained structured questions and targeted teachers and the principals in secondary schools in Thikn District.
