Pedagogical issues in education

Abstract

Pedagogy is a major activity in the process of providing education in a formal education system. The bulk of the education takes place through teaching in the school classrooms and laboratories. Since, pedagogy has a central role to play in the learning process, any efforts to reform education to improve its quality and make it play major role development, must address issues pertaining to it with a lot of seriousness and urgency. This paper therefore focuses on pedagogical issues with respect to the concept, mode, policy and practice in Kenya.
