Stakeholders in the Limelight: Principles of Actor-Centred Resources Management.
Abstract
The objective of this paper is to explore the extent to which changes in institutional
configurations at the Polish centre of government have affected variation in the patterns of
implementation of EU legislation in Poland between 1993 and 2002. The dependent variable
is defined as the extent to which EU directives are transposed according to a pre-agreed
timetable. The paper hypothesizes that the variation in the rate of transposition is linked to
changes in institutional configurations at the centre of government.
