INFLUENCE OF STRATEGIC PLAN IMPLEMENTATION ON STUDENT'S ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN MAARA SUB COUNTY, THARAKA NITHI COUNTY, KENYA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to establish the influence of strategic plan implementation on students’ academic performance at public secondary schools in Maara-Sub County. This research project was guided by the following objectives: To establish the extent to which mission and vision statement influence students’ academic performance at public secondary schools in Maara-Sub-County; To examine influence of Continuous Assessment strategy on students’ academic performance at public secondary schools; To evaluate the extent to which physical facilities development strategy influence academic performance at public secondary schools; To assess the extent in which syllabus coverage strategy influence on students ’academic performance at public secondary schools.
