dc.description.abstractThe study has looked 1 nto the impact of population growth on agricultural development in Bungoma and Kisumu district. The background informatlon of the two dlstricts has been anal~s0d to show their agrlcultural potential as well as their population densities Cross tabulations have been used to analyse the lmpact of population pressure on the land sizes, food productions capacity, economic status, fuelwood and water availability. The findings shows that populat pressure has a negative impact on food production capacity, land sizes the economics the community. They also shows that the population pressure diminishes fuel wood and clean water supply. The study concludes that population growth should be controlled keep pace with agricultural development so that. the two distribution can achieve economic development.en
