Phytochemical analysis of Kenyan Medicinal Ypsinaceae plants
Abstract
There are five members of the Myrsinaceae in Kenya, four of
which, Embelia schimperi, Myrsine africana, Rapanea melanphloes and
Maesa lanceolata are applied broadly in our traditional medicine and at
least one part of each plant is invariably used for anthelminitic
purposes.
