dc.description.abstract	The testicles of 96 rams and 120 bucks was examined by palpation and by ultrasonography for the diagnosis of pathological lesions. 26.9% of the animals examined had palpable lesions while 19.4% had ultrasonographically detectable lesions. Histopathological and gross observation on specific ultrasonographic lesion types confirmed ultrasonography was a reliable and rapid method for the diagnosis of testicular pathology and could be incorporated into the routine methods of clinical examination for testicular health in rams and bucks where applicable.	en
