dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study is to assess the influence of monitoring and evaluation process on the Implementation of CDF Projects in Kisii Region The study will be guided by the following objectives; to establish the influence of the qualification of the monitoring and evaluation committee on the implementation of CDF projects, to establish the influence of composition of the monitoring and evaluation committee on implementation of CDF projects, to establish the frequency of monitoring and evaluation committee meetings on implementation of CDF projects, to establish to what extent community participation on monitoring & evaluation process influences the implementation of C.D.F projects, to establish how accessibility of C.D.F project records by the C.D.F monitoring & evaluation committee influences the implementation of C.D.F projects. The population of the study will consists of all the committee members of CDF in the constituency including the CDF Managers. Stratified random sampling technique will guide sample selection since the population of subjects (CDF Managers and CDF Committee) is heterogeneous. Finally, simple random sampling technique will be used to select the actual subjects for study. Questionnaires will be used to collect data from the respondents. The data will be analysed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques since both qualitative and quantitative data will be collected.en_US
