African Natural Products Research Network (RISE-AFNNET)

Abstract

The objective of the RISE-AFNNET, is to promote natural products science and technology competences in the region with a view to securing and sustainably engaging the African NP industry for socio-economic development.

RISE- AFFNET was established by the Makerere University (Prof. Kabasa J. D.), University of Nairobi (Prof. S. G. Kiama), and Soikoine University of Agriculture (Prof. Mdegere R.) in 2008 to bridge this gap.

The project is supported by Carnege Corporation of New York through-Regional Initiative in Science.
