Led by Prof. David Wood, Deputy Vice Chancellor, International, the Curtin University delegation paid a courtesy call to Prof. George Magoha, Vice Chancellor, University of Nairobi (UON). Prof. Wood said that Curtin University is looking to develop more strategic partnerships with reputable teaching and research institutions. The university’s expertise in the sciences and technology, as well as a commitment to international engagement, places the institution in an excellent position to develop mutually beneficial relationships with UON. On his part, Prof. Magoha welcomed the discussions for potential future collaborations and intellectual exchanges. He said that the university is keen on research collaborations especially in different areas of specialization such as engineering, emerging sciences and public health.
