dc.description.abstractThe University of Nairobi took part in the recently concluded exhibition by Kenyan Universities held at the KICC between June 20 and 22, 2013. The Exhibition was organized by the Commission for Universities Education (CUE) formerly Commission for Higher Education (CHE) in which all public and private institutions of higher learning took part. The University of Nairobi was represented by all the Colleges and Central Administration. The units put up an elaborate display of academic programmes and other services offered at the University. This was the 11th Exhibition by Kenyan Universities which also attracted other sector players such as the Higher Education Loans Board, the National Science and Technology Council among others. The Exhibition was formally opened by the Secretary for Education Science and Technology, Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi and closed by the Nairobi County Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero. Both VIPs are alumni of the University of Nairobi with the former being the immediate former, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic Affairs. The Exhibition is an annual fete that gives Universities an opportunity to show case their programmes and interact with the stakeholders and the public in general.en_US
