dc.description.abstract | It is shown that the latitude at which the occurrence of blanketing sporadic-E (View the MathML source) changes over from a June maximum to a December maximum is south of the geographic equator in the African and Far Eastern zones and north in the American zone. In the first two zones, the rate of change of occurrence with latitude and the overall values are higher in the June solstice and in the last zone they are higher in the December solstice. | en_US |
