dc.description.abstract | Biopsy material from the abdominal wall and peritoneum of a boy in Kenya with a tumour attached to the stomach wall and ulcerating through the skin, showed, on sectioning, fibrous tissue containing focal areas of abscesses, surrounded by active chronic inflammation. In one abscess, a worm was visible in cross-section and it was identified as an immature male of Oesophagostomum. Its morphology in section is outlined. | en_US |
