dc.description.abstractThe University of Nairobi has been ranked 7th in Africa and number 855 in the world according to the just released Webometrics ranking. In East Africa, Makeree University, Kenyatta University and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology have been ranked 13,38 and 44 respectively in Africa. 25000 institutions of higher learning were analyzed in the ranking. The University of Nairobi has recorded significant improvement as it was ranked number 9 in Africa and 907 in the world in the previous ranking.en_US
