The effects of vegetation type on infiltration rate and sediment production
Abstract
In field trials, infiltration rates were consistently greater and sediment production lower under Grewia bicolor than under Chloris roxburghiana and bare ground. The vegetation-related variables were positively correlated with infiltration rates and protected the soil surface from raindrop impact.
