dc.description.abstract | From clove buds Syzlglum aromaticurr. (family f'yrtaceae) obtained from a Nairobi market, the volatile oil was isolated and evaluated by 6team distillation method. The yield of the oil was 18.0 per cent on moisture - free basis.
The physico-chemical properties of the oil were the following:-
Density (d^ )
