Digital tools that are imported from sophisticated industrial and temperate countries into a tropical environment tend to be inappropriate and unsustainable in line with national visions", international standards and millennium goals. The paper presents a tool developed by Ebenergy Enterprises for the local market as an intermediary and linked to a broader software 'Ebenergy© 2010' which can be interfaced to other conventional ones such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Computer Aided Design (CAD). These can be used for design and planning projects using data from the local meteorological stations.en_US
