Abstract

This thesis is limited to architectural development in water masses.The scope and limiting parameters of this discussion include current and historical attitude and response towards water architecture of building inhabitation and living in/on water(submaritime).The dissertation analyses the contention of development in water bodies as an ecological t6echnological,legal and financial challenge primarily in Kenya in comparison to the rest of the world.The thesis takes a look at the architecture of the country as well as around the world with the hope of finding the suitable ideas to implement within the Kenyan context
