    Abstract
Primary Education Learners fail in school for a variety of reasons. In some cases, their academic difficulties can be directly attributed to deficiencies in the teaching and developmental learning activities. These difficulties may become more serious over time if instruction is not modified to address the students' specific needs. Unless these students receive appropriate intervention, they will continue to struggle and the gap between their achievement and that of their peers will widen over time. The main purpose of the study will be to establish the challenges affecting learning activities of primary school learners in Wajir County. The study will be guided by the following specific objectives:To examine the effect of economic related challenges on learning activities among primary school learners in Wajir County; To examine the effect of religion related challenges on learning activities among primary school learners of pastoralists communitiesin Wajir County; To assess the effect of Environmental related challenges on learning activities among primary school learners of pastoralists communities in Wajir County and to determine the effect of government policy related challenges on learning activities among primary school learners of pastoralists‟ communities in Wajir County.
