dc.description.abstract | Kenya has received many refugees in the last two to three decades. These refugees have some of them found their way to find homes in various urban centers as majority of them still live in the refugee camps. This study will be guided by the three objectives formulated to help finding out the social integration of these refugees in the country and what lessons Kenya can learn from other countries on how to deal with refugee integration. The study will be guided by a theoretical framework that is the social constructivism theory and secondary data form various sources relating to the study will be used. The findings of the research will be used by policy makers in understanding refugee situation in Kenya and how social integration can be an alternative way of handling refugees other than generally relying on encampment policy. | en_US |
