dc.description.abstractThe Rift Valley Academy was founded in 1905 for the education of the children of missionaries serving in east and central Africa. Gradually the school was expanded until in 1970, 367 students were enrolled from thirty-five missionary societies. In 1968 the school received provisional accreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
