The role of organizational capabilities in the realization of organizational objectives at helb in Kenya

Abstract

The study aimed at establishing the role of organizational capabilities in the attainment of organizational objectives at the Higher Education Loans Board in Kenya. Organizational capabilities of a company form an important role to create value and improve business performance and the realization of objectives. The competitive advantage of companies in today's economy stems not from market position, but from difficulty to replicate organizational capabilities and the manner in which they are deployed. In attempting to get the objectives, a case study research design was adopted. An interview guide was used to collect data on organizational capabilities used by the organization in gaining realization of its objectives. The data obtained from the interview guide was analyzed qualitatively with the use of content analysis
