dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study was to establish the strategic responses that have been adapted by the ISPs to address the existing growth of mobile telephony industry and to establish the challenges the ISPs are facing. A questionnaire was used for data collection. The data obtained from the questionnaire was analyzed using content analysis. Information obtained was organized into themes that sought to achieve the set objectives of the study or answer the research question. Data was presented using prose or narrative format. The respondent experience was averaged at five years The following recommendations were made. First, ISPs should unite and advocate for a better regulatory environment. This study recommends that ISPs should come together to share infrastructure in order to reduce costs which they can pass down to the consumer or increase their profit margins. The government should also come in with policies that enhance sharing of resources in the industry in order to reduce internet cost and improve usage.en
