dc.description.abstract | The research seeks to investigate the enforcement standards on corporate governance for listed companies in Kenya. The key focus is on the interplay between mandatory and voluntary requirements on corporate governance. The research endeavours to interrogate whether mandatory, voluntary or a balance of the two is the best approach for Kenya's listed companies. A detailed review of the emerging popularity of codes of corporate governance was also undertaken with emphasis on enforceability of its principles and recommendations. | en_US |
