This work attempts to establish and describe the dialects of Ekegusii by comparing the phonological, morphological and lexical features of the two dialects. Using the concept of variability, it is shown that the two dialects can be distinguished by typical lexical, phonological and grammatical features since the dialect features are not mutually exclusive. In terms of arrangement, chapter one introduces the problem and the intention of the study. In chapter two we give an overview of the phonological and morphological structure of Ekegusii. The dialect features observed are described in chapter three. In chapter four, we analyse and explain the third chapter. Chapter five presents the findings and conclusions of our study.en
