Sins on the Land
Abstract
Ruth's life is shuttered by the sudden death of her grandmother Phyllis and she has to
adjust to life without her. Festus kills his mother in an attempt to claim what he views as
his rightful inheritance. However things don't go as he had planned and his life
deteriorates out of his own doing.
Ruth's world is turned upside down when she finds out that the people she loves and
trusts the most have been lying to her. She has to deal with both loss and betrayal.
This story challenges the gender discriminating belief that women cannot inherit land.
It's a tale of loss, deceit and murder.
