dc.description.abstract | This project proposal prepared for the In-flight catering industry gives an overview of the
developments in e-commerce and its impact in the marketing strategy of the industry.
Working from available literature from the internet, catering journals, news magazines,
observation and interviews, the proposal describes the investigation carried out and the
state of the art.
The study contained in this report investigated the growth of e-commerce and its use on
the marketing strategy of the In-flight catering industry with the aim of extending the
findings to the improvement of business in NAS Airport Services.
It had a further aim of identifying the target areas for improvement and isolating the
problems hindering the free flow of the caterers' products in the market.
To achieve these objectives an analysis of 15 In-flight caterers was done with a view to
assessing whether they form a good solution to the marketing strategy of the industry.
The data was analyzed by use of tables and conclusions made. | en |
