Vegetation changes in Tsavo National Park (East) , Kenya
Abstract
The work examines medium- term ( ten-year period )
vegetation changes during 1971 - 1981 in Tsavo
National Park ( East), Kenya, with reference to
the role of elephants and fire regimes. It includes
a detailed evaluation of present day woody vegetation
and an exploration of the dendrochronological ( growthring)
potential of the woody species of the Park.......
