dc.description.abstractMost privately run Dental Clinics serve patients of Dental Cases. They employ two to three attendants and a receptionist. These with the doctor manage all the affairs of the clinic. This include Booking Appointments for patients Receiving patients and take their detail. Capturing past medical history of patients Diagnosing the patient. Drawing up a treatment plan for the patient Treating the patient Invoicing and receiving payments Rebooking the patients for another appointment. Sending six monthly reminders to patient for a checkup. Sending reminders for Balances to patients with outstanding balances. Ordering dental materials from suppliers for use in the clinic. Sending laboratory work to dental technicians. Sending Patients for x-rays. Sending patients for laboratory tests. Most clinics have no computerized system for the above tasks, all the processes are carried out manually. This project looks at computerizing some of the manual operation above and incorporates the modern Internet technology to enable patients book appointments on line and even enable for the system to capture patients' information online to save both time and resources.en
