dc.description.abstractThis study is lased on on analysis of a modern bone assemblage from a spotted hyena den. The data collected include bone damage and weathering.The different animal species represented are identified. The various possible agents of bone accumulation are identified and the possible role of each isolated. It is then concluded that it was the spotted hyena, Crocuta Crocuta that is responsible for accumulating the bone assemblage from Masai Maraen
