Microcomputer-based analysis of aeromagnetic maps for structural mapping
Abstract
Aeromagnetic data at a scale of 1:50 000, derived from an area of
about 600km2 located within the greenstone belt of western Kenya,
are analysed using 2D,3D-Euler deconvolution and Fourier spectral
techniques. Programs have been written in the Fortran 77 language
and run on a 386SX PS/2 IBM microcomputer with random access
memory of 4 megabytes, central processing unit (CPU) speed of
16KHz and 387 mathematical coprocessor.
