dc.description.abstract | A highly magnetized steady incompressible fluid flowing between two infinite parallel
porous plates under the influence of transverse magnetic field has been studied.
The Euler's equation of motion ,the Navier - Stokes Equation coupled with magnetic
forces of the fluid flow and Maxwell's equation formed a differential equation
.This differential equation has been solved by method of Laplace transform where
the boundary conditions have been transformed to initial conditions and analytical
expression for fluid velocity has been obtained.A non dimensionless velocity 'I.b is
made to ensure a steady fluid flow which is perpendicular to the fluid flow is flowing
in the x axis direction. Here a constant pressure gradient has been considered ,the
resultantdifferential equation solved by Laplace transform and expressed in terms
ofHartmann number.
Furtherrnore,we have drawn additional velocity profiles for hydromagnetic flow
betweentwo parallel infinite plates for additional inclinations of ISO and 45° for additional
values of Hartmann numbers 2.5 and 3.0 | en |
