| dc.description.abstract | An investigation has been carried out to design
and test an alphanumeric-based student computer terminal
at a reasonably low cost. The terminal is based on the
CDP 1802 CPU with the CRO aS the display medium and an
upper-case only character generating ROM. The display
dot positions are addressed by binary counters which are
driven by the same clock signal as for the microprocessor
