dc.description.abstractThe title "Teacher Education Facilities' as been derived from the way Kenya Primary Teachers Colleges operate these days , Teacher Education is no Longer restricted to the pre-service student teacher only. In-service courses for the untrained teachers and refersner courses for the trained teachers are also organized within the institutes. And as a side benefit the colleges are also used as centres for the eradication of illiteracy. C0NTENT Included in the report are the site selection criteria and site analysis identification of major design parameters, relationship of Activities, Performances specifications, the design development and stages, the choice of materials, environmental study, evaluation of the design project and the appendix OBJECTIVES. The primary objective of this thesis is to develop teacher Education Facilities which will provide convenient services fo the training of 480 Primary School Teachers within a period of two years. And at the same time provide training facilities for a similar number of in-service, students during the school vacations which fall in April, August and Decemberen
