In this paper, we consider the mathematical formulation and analysis of an optimal control problem for a nonlinear Dissolve Oxy-gen(DO)/ Biological Oxygen Demand(BOD) system with logistic growth term. In the BOD/DO system studied by Bermúdez [2] this logistic growth term is not included. We study the existence and uniqueness of solution for the nonlinear system as well as the existence and uniqueness of optimal solutions.en
