The main objective of this study is to explore policy implications on environmental security in Kenya. Chapter one gives an introduction to the study. It will look at factors contributing to ; environmental degradation. The study will explore the impact of population on environment, effects of climate change on environment and policy implication on environment. Chapter two . will give a historical background of the environment. Chapter three will explore environmental degradation and security issues in Kenya.
Chapter four will discuss emerging issues and chapter five will give a conclusion to the study. The study will use theoretical framework. It will be guided by the theory of tragedy of commons. The theory shows the mismanagement of a shared resource without caring the consequences. Data collection will rely mostly on secondary data. The key findings of this study will guide recommendations.
