Inland sites and monuments in Kenya
Abstract
The documentation and preservation of inland sites and monuments in kenya have lagged behind those of coastal sites. Each category presents special preservation problems: open sites (villages), burial sites, petroglyphs and pictographs, fortifications, and palaeontological sites. In addition, conservators must cope with lack of funds, lack of trained personnel, lack of information and ignorance. -- ICCROM
