Revealed Comparative Advantage and Export Propensity in Kenya
Abstract
This discussion paper is released under IPAR’s research and policy activities in
the Private Sector Development programme. Discussion papers disseminate
results and reflections from on-going research activities of the Institute’s
programmes which include Agriculture, Business and Finance, Education,
Governance, Macroeconomics and Private Sector Development. The objective
of the discussion paper series is to present research results quickly to initiate
policy dialogue with different stakeholders and encourage prompt application of
policy proposals. The findings, interpretations, views, conclusions and policy
proposals are of the authors. The ideas and policy suggestions contained in the
discussion papers are preliminary. A summary of the key findings and policy
proposals is available under the policy brief series
