dc.description.abstract | In a study of 13 characters in the world collection of 1072 cowpea cv. at Jhansi, 11 plant types were recognized, of which 3 occurred only in India. 50 cv. yielding 40, 000-50, 000 kg fodder/ha in 2 cuttings with CP content ranging from 18% to 25% of the DM were selected for development of high-yielding, high-quality fodder cowpeas. -A.C.T. | en |
