Conflicts affects performance in the organization and this effect depends on the type and the magnitude of the conflicts. The broad purpose of this study was to analyze how various types of conflicts influenced service delivery in CBOs that are involved in HIV and Aids response in Dujis Constituency, North Eastern Province in Kenya. The objectives of the study were in four fold. The study employed a descriptive design. The study had two target populations; the first target population were CBO while the second target population were the Key institutions that dealt with CBOs. The researcher adopted different sampling methodologies for the two target populations, systematic random sampling for CBOs and a purposive, non probability sampling for the key institutions. The sample size and sampling interval were determined using Gheuri and Kjell (2004) formula. From these formulae, the researcher settled on a sample size of 15 CBOs from a total of 60 CBOs that were involved in HIV and Aids response in Dujis Constituency, this represented 25% of the population. Questionnaires, blended in structured and unstructured questions were used for data collection. Findings from data were analyzed through SPSS system and presentation done using frequency tables. Interpretation, conclusions and recommendations were done based on the findings. Findings from the study revealed that CBOs in Dujis experienced high levels of conflicts caused by politics, poor management and scarce resources/finances and that the level of conflict awareness among women was lower than that of men in the same CBOs .. The research can be put in replication to allow the investigation on the suitability of negation as a method of conflict management.en_US
