dc.description.abstractThis paper describes recent changes in attitude towards and management of Lantana camara in Kalama and Muputi locations of Machakos District in Kenya. Four current uses (basket making, food, soil improvement and hedge making) and seven management techniques are identified and their present and potential value are discussed. Implications for research and action are suggested.en
