The major objective of this study was to collect information about the role of the church in counselling the youth about HIV /AIDs prevention from the youth' s perspective. This study aimed at describing the information channels that the church uses to guide and counsel the youths on HIV /AIDs and the perceptions of the youths about the process of counselling. Data were collected from six boys and four girls in Busia town. Information that were provided suggest that although the church is involved in youth counselling, the process is not adequate. There is need to diversify counselling and for involvement/participation of others such as schools.en
