In an emerging global economy, the ability of telecommunication sector to provide a competitive network for transferring information has significant implications for economic growth. Often, it has been observed that telecommunication infrastructure and economic growth move together. While this relationship has been studied in the context of developed countries, in this study, we investigate the relationship between Telecommunications and Economic growth using an aggregate Cobb-Douglas production function using quarterly data for the period 1989-2009 for Kenya. We find significant impacts of cellular services on the national output.en_US
