It was also discovered that vocational, teaching methods qualifications and motivation of instructors had an influence on trainees vocational skills development in youth polytechnics. From these findings, there is need to train instructors on more vocational skills and teaching methods to improve their performance. The Ministry of Youth Affairs should also develop a scheme of service for instructors in order to motivate them for better performance.
