dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the dependence of agriculture in climate which implies that conditions of temperature and rainfall, among other climatic factors, dictate the performance of both crops and livestock. It is suggested that the climate forecast information generated by the various models developed for the Lake Victoria basin region in Kenya will assist to alleviate poverty by early planning for the mitigation against the adverse impacts of droughts and persistent floods.en
