This study sought to identify factors that influence the effectiveness of strategic change at Kenya National Assembly. A guided questionnaire was used and face to face interview was conducted among some respondents to collect primary data. It targeted 5 key informants who have direct or indirect influence on the Kenya National Assembly strategic changes and therefore resourceful to give accurate information. Secondary data was also used in this study. A response of 100% for primary data was achieved and the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this study revealed that the factors that influence strategic change further influence the effectiveness of strategic change as suggested by Rowe et. 'al (1994). The study also revealed that leadership and clarity of vision and mission are of great value for the effectiveness of strategic change even though all the other factors are indispensable. The degree of influence by various factors varies from project to project and is dependent on the context of strategic change. Several challenges were highlighted in this study which require further research for proper recommendations to be made. The results of this study were consistent with the factors that influence the effectiveness of strategic change as discussed by various scholars. It is evident that all the factors of change played a major role to influence the success at Kenya National Assembly's strategic changes. In conclusion, the factors that influence strategic change such as Politics, bureaucratic structures,. technology, communication, resistance to chnage teamwork, change leadership and clear vision and mission as discussed by various scholars influenced the effectiveness of strateqlc changes at Kenya National Assembly. These factors should always be taken into account in any strategic change being carried to in a similar or related context but the degree of influence may vary across project since it is dependent on the prevailing external environments. The researcher recommendations to Parliamentary Service Commission leadership are namely; the inter-directorate teamwork should be enhancing to promote interdirectorate synergy. It is also evident that there is need to evaluate the policies, bureaucracies and procedures of other government's dep-artments and functions that co-work or facilitate Parliamentary Service Commission to enhance efficiency. There is need to enhance training and use other measures recommended by scholars among the staff and members to reduce the level of resistance to change. in addition, the study revealed that there is need for further studies on challenges facing strategic changes at Kenya National Assembly besides studies that concerns change management process at Kenya National Assembly.en_US
