dc.description.abstractThe study examines factors influencing the growth of financial institutions in Kenya: A case study of Equity Bank Kenya Ltd. The objective of this study was to identify factors that have influenced the growth of Equity Bank Kenya Ltd. A case study research design was applied. Data was gathered through questionnaires and interviews to managers and a client of the bank, as well as audited annual reports of Equity Bank Kenya Ltd. Data was analyzed through factor analysis method using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 17. The results revealed and concluded that the main factors that influence the growth of financial institutions in Kenya included management, customer convenience, policies and procedures, technology and other factors such as government policies, economic factors, competition in the banking industry, employees and rapid change in technology.en_US
