dc.description.abstractThis study set out to determine the extent to which strategic management is being practiced by the State Corporations in Kenya. Data for the study was collected through survey, using structured questionnaires on target Corporations where Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and senior managers were contacted for responses owing to their experience and participation in strategy matters in respective organizations. The findings of the study indicated that State Corporations practice strategic management. They have well articulated mission, vision, objectives and corporate plans besides being aware of the benefits of strategic management.en_US
